Eagles Nest Regeneration at Elim Home provides life-changing substance abuse treatment in a safe, supportive, and healing environment. Our mission is to empower adults to break free from the cycle of addiction, equipping them with the tools to build and sustain healthy, recovery-focused lifestyles.
We believe true transformation begins with God. Our role is to guide and support individuals on their journey to renewal. This is why we incorporate Biblical instruction, counseling, and small group support into our program.
Your generosity can help bring hope and lasting change to those seeking a new beginning.
At Elim Home, we go beyond instruction by offering occupational training to equip you with practical skills for life after graduation. This hands-on approach empowers individuals to build sustainable and healthy lifestyles long after their time with us.
With over 100 years of combined experience, our team is dedicated to guiding you every step of the way. Contact us today to discover why we are the trusted choice for drug and alcohol treatment in Lynchburg, Floyd, VA, and the surrounding areas.
“You're not gonna find a better place so stop looking and call if you need help. I gained so much at this place from a real relationship with Jesus, marriage restored, brothers I'll have for a lifetime, skills to live in healthy recovery, a cool hat, and learning who I am in Christ. Please make that call if you need help”
-Matt
“Incredible experience. I wouldn’t be the man I am today, let alone be alive, if it were not for the eagles nest!”
-Alex
“This place through Jesus Christ has given me my life back. Not only do they lead you to having a personal relationship with your heavenly father they teach you how to love and how to be loved. God led me to the eagles nest because he knew they knew exactly how to help me. They are truly a blessing to me.”
-Jason

History of Eagles Nest Regeneration at Elim Home
Elim Home was founded in 1958 by Dr. Jerry Falwell as the first outreach ministry of Thomas Road Baptist Church in response to a growing need to support men battling alcoholism. Inspired by his own father’s struggle with alcoholism, Falwell brought his vision to the deacons and congregation, who supported the creation of Elim Home. Located in Madison Heights, Elim stands on land donated by Ray and Amanda Horsley, directors from 1964-1984. Their son, David, served as director from 1979 until his retirement in 2008, alongside his wife Judy. Elim Home remains a faith-based recovery center, named after the biblical oasis.
Exodus 15:27 “Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water.“
In 2020, Eagles Nest Regeneration partnered with Thomas Road Baptist Church, resulting in the donation of Elim Home to ENR. This collaboration was inspired by Eagles Nest Regeneration's success in fostering sustainable recovery in Floyd and the shared faith values of both organizations. Now known as Eagles Nest Regeneration at Elim Home, the program aims to continue the legacy, providing a faith-based path to recovery and renewed purpose for individuals seeking transformation.
